Student Placements
Please note we are unable to offer work experience to school students
EMS Placements at NorCal Vets
Please be aware we get very booked up with student placements:
(we currently have very minimal availability left for 2023 placements – only a few weeks in Autumn remaining)
We offer 2-week placements and take 2 students per week with the exception of summer when it is quieter when we are only able to take 1 student per week.
It is only possible to access the practice by car – please make sure you will be able to get to the practice each day as public transport is not an option.
We are not able to provide accommodation – there are quite a few airbnbs nearby.
If you have a keen interest in farm work and would like to see practice with us, please fill in the application form and return to us via email to students@norcalvets.co.uk we will respond with any dates we are able to offer for you to confirm.
If a placement is booked, we will also send a pre-placement form in the month prior to your placement to be returned to us before your placement begins.
